CrossFit Invitational is this Weekend!

Hey guys,

If you enjoy watching the elite level CrossFitters do their thing, this Sunday the CrossFit Invitational is going down. We talked about it in a previous blog so I won't go into much detail. It will be streamed at games.crossfit.com at 1PM PST this Sunday. Here's a video interview of one of Team Canada's members Brent Fikowski who finished 4th in the 2015 CrossFit Games.

TRAINING FRIDAY - SATURDAY WARM-UP:

400m jog, then 3 rounds

10 goblet squats

8 kb deadlifts

6 kb swings

SKILL: Prep and review for WOD

WOD: Behemoth

New wod here, but same tricks! This is an AMRAP style wod, so cycle through as many times as possible in the time cap. Barbell weight should be challenging but achievable with great form. 28 reps per round except for comp women, (24).

Rx: 16 min AMRAP of:

6 Power Cleans (105/155)

6 Shoulder to Overhead

8 Barhop Burpees

8 CTB pullups

TG: Scale bar as needed

FG1: 65/95, assisted pullups

FG2: 75-95/115-135, regular pullups

Comp: 145/205, 4/8 ring MU
