Watch as two of the top crossfit athletes in the world (Tia Claire Toomey has come second in the CrossFit Games twice) take on this workout. It is always impressive to see what the very best in our sport/activity can do and I find it inspiring to watch.
Training Wednesday - Thursday
Warm-up: 3 rounds - 10 light kbs, 10 hanging knee raise, 20 jumping jacks
WOD: Purple Elephant
Sometimes a workout will leave you wondering where you are, who you are, and what reality is. This is a team workout in which that scenario may very well happen. Choose two hardy teammates and get after this challenge together. Be sure to keep on track with reps!
Rx: 36 min AMRAP
Row 5, 10, 15, 20 calories each person
Perform 5, 10, 15, 20 hang power snatch (55/75) each person
Perform 10, 20, 30, 40 double unders each person
If you finish, repeat!
For your score, only count your last person's complete round! Treat your team as one person working through the rounds. This will make the addition much more simple.
Partial rounds do not count - i.e. if 2 of you make it through 20 double unders, but your third does not, you only get credit for 10 double unders.
