Regionals - Week 1 featuring the South and East

Hey Vic City,

We are less than a week away from the start of Regionals. It is not the Regional weekend which the Vic City athletes will be competing in Portland, that is June 2nd to 4th, but some big names are in action starting this Friday the 19th! There will be two separate Super Regionals in action, in the first of the three Regional weekends. The South, which is a combination of the South West, South Central, and Latin America will feature, Camille Leblanc-Bazinet among others. Also competing live this weekend will be the East. There is a plethora of elite athletes in the East, including Patrick Vellner, Alex Vigneault, Lucas Parker, and defending champs, Mat Fraser and Katrin Davidsdottir.

If you haven't seen the events that our Vic City athletes and Regional competitors worldwide will be challenged with, you can check them out here.

You will be able to catch the events online, and live. Since the competition venues are not in the Pacific Times Zone, they will be earlier than you will be able to watch the West Regional in just over 2 weeks time. I'll create a little cheat sheet with when to tune into the "important heats" for each of the Regional.

Come this time next week, we will know the first 10 men, 10 women, and 10 teams heading to the 2017 CrossFit Games.

Here is the East Regional highlight video from last season.

Enjoy,

Adam
