Leaderboard Challenge!

Katrin Davidsdottir and Sara Sigmundsdottir can throw down some wicked benchmark scores!

Hey all,

The leaderboards are primed and ready! Blank so far, just waiting to be filled with top scores... which will start next week! Over the next couple of months, we'll look to cover all the categories, so get yourselves ready.

Now let's not forget that CrossFit is about having fun, and training with friends, first and foremost. The objective of the leaderboards is to add a bit more excitement to the workouts we do, and also provide a BENCHMARK for your fitness level. This is true regardless of where you sit in terms of scaling or performance versus your peers. So no matter what, when these workouts come up, LOG THEM in your logbook and beyondthewhiteboard, so you can look to improve them in the future!!

Here are a few details about how we'll be working with the leaderboards and how to make sure your top efforts on the workouts get recorded!

- As mentioned above, we'll start getting after these wods right away. Some workouts will recur up to 3-4 times per year, others likely just twice

- We'll have space for the top 8 in each category (men, women, masters men, masters women) except for partner nurwor, in which we'll list the top 4 teams

- Master's scores will be for members over 40 AND any score from a master's athlete is valid for the open men and open women leaderboards

- We'll be extra stringent on rep quality for these wods, so expect to have our coaches (or sometimes a personal judge) there to keep you on track!

- Any leaderboard effort will have to be part of a class or witnessed and judged by a coach if outside of class

- The smallest jump allowed for weight leaderboards will be 2lb (1lb fractionals on each side)

- Make sure to record your score accurately on both our in gym leaderboard AND beyondthewhiteboard.com (or thru the app)

That's about it, gang! I'm excited to see what you will bring to the table as we tackle these workouts.
