As the holiday season nears, we here at Vic City want to make sure we can help out those in need, and those who may not be able to celebrate the way they want to this upcoming holiday season. 

 

One of our members Krista has organized and set us up with CFAX last year and has again done so this year too!

 

You can read her message below for details. I will have a big tote in the warmup area of the gym for present to be dropped off in tomorrow (Thursday). 

 

It's that time! Once again teaming up with CFAX Santa's Anonymous Tree of Wishes Campaign and would like to invite you to join us by purchasing a gift for a child this Christmas. When you come into the gym in the warmup area, you'll see a number of paper Christmas ornaments hanging up that contain gift requests from children in need.  Feel free to take a look through them, and if you are so inclined, please take one of these ornaments and purchase the gift that a child has requested and return it UNWRAPPED to the Crossfit Vic City by December 13th.

 

You'll notice that in addition to the Christmas ornaments, we also have stocking stuffers that have suggested smaller valued items if you are looking for a little something extra. These are just general ideas and suggestions that will be included in the Christmas hampers so there is no need to take the stuffer wish with you or track it.

 

Please note that we will need all gifts and stocking stuffers back by December 13th.

 

P.S. If braving the malls at this time of year is not appealing to you, we also have tax receipts if you'd prefer to make a monetary donation.

Intervals (no score just for quality):

Every 2:30 for 4-6 rounds

 

RX: 10 kb swings, 20 du, 10 goblet lunges (35/53)

 

FG: scale KB weight as needed

 

CP1: 2xkb clean and jerk (35/53)

 

CP2: 2xKb clean and jerk (44/70)
