TRAINING WEDNESDAY/THURSDAY

WARMUP:

3 x through:

2 spiderman lunge with twist (1/side)

3 inchworms with pushup

Front rack wrist stretch

10 air squats

SKILL: FRONT SQUAT

5-4-3-2-1 reps, going on a 2:30 timer.

Build each set, with the focus being on the 3 -2 - 1 reps. Don't aim for 1rm, just a strong heavy single with great technique at the end.

WOD

For the following wod, look to do your snatch reps as chunks of touch and go or singles if you have more than 15's on the bar. Don't scale so light that you're doing all your snatch sets unbroken.

If you have a large mismatch between your snatch and floor press abilities (even with the higher reps for floor press), add a small metal plate for the presses.

For time:

10-8-6-4-2 of Power Snatch (75/115) and

20-16-12-8-4 of Floor Press (75/115)

Scale down to 65/95 or 55/75.

Scale up to 95/135 OR squat snatch at 75/115
