Open Prep with Coach Tia - Nutrition and Supplements!

Coach Tia has a ton of experience taking on Open workouts, and in the leadup to the 2022 Open (in mid Feb!), she'll be sharing tips to help you optimize your performance. This week's video is all about fueling your body properly and making some positive changes in the leadup to 22.1. Tia also discusses some popular supplements that can enhance your output during the three weeks of challenging wods.

TRAINING WEDNESDAY THURSDAY


WARM UP: 3 rounds slow and smooth with an empty barbell:

8 deadlifts

6 hang power snatch

4 shoulder press

6 back squats

8 barbell rows


Stretch of coaches choice between rounds



WOD:


Complete as many rounds as possible in 20 mins of:

30 Deadlifts, 185/115 lbs

10 Burpees

30 Shoulder-to-Overheads, 95/65 lbs

10 Burpees

30 Hang Power Snatches, 95/65 lbs

10 Burpees


Choose weight combinations so you only have to add/subtract 1 plate per side! Can sub DB snatches (from floor or hang) OR overhead squats for the hang power snatches
