PUSH Week Incoming!

Well, PUSH week isn't quite the "Games" but it will be fun and challenging! View in the tennis stadium from the 2016 Games in Carson California

Hey gang,

Next week, from Monday July 12 to Saturday July 17, we're holding our 5th PUSH Week! For those of you who haven't done one of these before, it's basically a chance to up the volume of your training while competing for fun and some prizes! By participating in our quality programming every day of the week, you can expose yourself to a greater stimulus for fitness development - which will give you a boost once we return to our regular training format!

Here's what you need to know:

1. We will post different wods for each day Mon-Sat. There should be enough variation that you'll be able to attend each day, although you'll have to pick and choose which days to smash! Only THREE of the wods will count towards your overall PUSH Week score, which we'll reveal at the end of the week :)

2. Members on 2 or 3 day per week membership can attend the full 6 days by purchasing a special PUSH Week UNLIMITED membership for $25 by clicking HERE or purchasing in the member app!

3. We will have CP, Rx, and Scaled versions of all WODs (hint... some of them are in there already!)

4. At the end of the week, we will crown the top male and female in each category as Kings and Queens of PUSH week! We'll use scores logged in BTWB to do this, and make sure to enter your scores in the same category (RX, CP, or SCALED) for each wod that you complete.

Prizes are as follows:

Top male and female in each category: 1 tub of the supplement of your choice, JaktRx shaker cup, and 1 decal

Second and third place in each category: JaktRx shaker cup, 1 decal


Spirit of PUSH Week Award (1 male and 1 female, any division) - showing incredible heart, support of other members, and just being an all star: shaker cup, decal, $25 off any product or service at the gym

That's about it team, show up, work hard, have fun, and breathe freely!




WARM UP: 5 MIN CINDY (mix and match movements if you like!)


Every 1:30 for 15 mins, alternating between: 8 Handstand Push-ups 8 Toes-to-bars

Options for HSPU: Scaled range of motion Wall walk holds Wall walk reps (2-3 per interval) Seated DB press

TTB options: hanging knee raise or partial ttb V ups or double crunch Scale rep number and difficulty as needed


Every 3 mins for 15 mins do:

7 Power Cleans, 135/95 lbs

7 Front Squats

11 Jumping Pull-ups

Jumping pullups should be more than 6" above STANDING REACH for Rx. FG can be 6" from top of HEAD.

FG3: 75/115

FG2: 55-65/75-95

FG1: 35/45, ring rows

CP1: 105/155, 3/6 ring MU or 11 jumping CTB
